Thank you for your interest in this file, and for playing this game. Your task is to destroy alien forces and their strongholds - against the deadly peril of their weapons. You will be attacked by two different kinds of enemies, which are backed by their ground forces. This implies that every time you shoot alien missiles, they immediately will be replaced, lest the generating base is not yet destroyed. You are supported by your own stations, where your ship can be repaired and ammunition can be stocked up. In case you have survived the level and destroyed every enemy, the exit "E" will appear at a certain position. By flying through the letter you will reach the next level.
Your ship => moves constantly from the left edge of the screen to the right one. It then will "disappear" in order to be transported back to the left edge of the screen, where it is replaced one line BELOW. The course can be altered by :
In general there is one important feature in this game :
Whilst every pass of the screen your actions concerning ALL of your weapons are limited to three !
There are five different types of weaponry. Here are the "easy" ones :
A | Laser Long range laser beam for universal use. |
S | Bombs Bombs are mainly used to eliminate ground targets. They will also vapourize the soil. |
D | Phaser This weapon, although its range is very limited is a powerful protection against your airborne enemies. It will not destroy the soil. |
These are the most useful weapons you own because of their ability to find their way through small tunnels and protected caves.
The missiles are released by pressing the "Home" key during normal flight mode. The game will then be halted to allow you the programming of the guidance ray. It can be directed up and down by the cursor keys like the steering of your ship. The programming will be finished if the ray touches any object or reaches the maximum length of 35 dots. Also the "Home" key can be pressed again.
Armies are a very useful feature to reach heavily protected or strongly
secured locations in a fairly simple way.
They are released when pressing the "Home" key when touched down.
A flashing cursor will appear and can be moved to the desired location
by normal use of the four cursor keys.
The target is locked by another pressure of the "Home" key.
The army will then proceed to its aim by the shortest possible way.
When reaching the programmed target, the army will detonate.
Their main disadvantage is their slow pace. They will proceed one step every time an "easy" weapon is used, you change the flight mode or press the "Home" key. For the protection of your armies no bombs will release as long as the army has not reached its aim.
Below there are dis
When struggling with the game lots of information is presented to you. Most of it is located in the top line. These are the more important ones. This is an example of how the top line looks like :
In the middle of the bottom line important extra messages appear flashing.
With these keys some interesting functions can be controlled.
This is an additional information for the user who is interested in the efficiency of his " style ".
